The Gospel

The Gospel of Christ Jesus

Sometimes we just need to read it.  Then after we're refreshed by these truths, God stirs our heart.  Our mission is clear.  Matthew 5:16 demands that we shine His light; we must go and tell others.  Our purpose is clear.  God gives us the TRUTH. God blesses us with spiritual gifts and talents.  For HIS sake and glory.  This is where we find true, fulfilling life in Christ.

  • For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23
  • The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:23
  • But God demonstrates His love for us in this:  while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8
  • If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9
  • If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature.  Old things are passed away and all things are  made new.  (II Corinthians 5:17)
  • He became sin on our behalf, so that we may become righteous.  (II Corinthians 5:21)
  • For by grace and you saved, through faith, not of yourselves.  It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any should boast.         (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 10:10)

Any life yielded to the Gospel should be changed.  It is exclusive.  The Gospel of Christ places a huge demand on our life.  It demands a surrendered life...a submission to the Lordship of Christ and His will.
